In Art last week we looked at how the Koru is used within Maori artwork. We discussed how it was significant to New Zealand and how it is a symbol that is known worldwide.

We then went on to have ago at incorporating the Koru within our own pieces of art.

We first drew with crayon and then used an ink to wash the paper.

    That art work was so fun! I loved all the ideas of the korus everyone had.It is exciting our art work is up on the wall in the hall for everyone to see.
    They look attractive!!!!!!!
