Problem Solving

In room 35 this morning we got into partners to solve some problems that involved searching for a pattern.

We completed one as a class first.

Problem 1 - complete the following   1    2     4    ____   ____

Working in pairs we came up with a range of different solutions that could use this pattern

1.    1    2    4    5   7      Peru and Charlotte 

2.     1  2   4     8    16        Ella, Augie and Zoe

3.     1    2   4     1     2       Cooper and Peryn

4.     1     2    4    16     256     Austin and William
